Gabriela Torres, a native of Mexico, came to the United States of America looking for educational opportunities. She attended Dalton State College where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Management Information Systems and a 3.93 GPA.
Before working at J & J industries, Gabriela worked as a Student Assistant, Dalton State College and as a Sales Representative for Dalton Furniture Galleries.
Some of Gabriela's Honors & Awards include: Good Ambassador Award (awarded by the European Council to outstanding students in the Paris Study Abroad program), the Ken White Scholarship (awarded to Junior/Senior applicant with 3.2 or higher GPA). She also received an Accounting Award, US Department of Education Title 6B Business and International Education Grant, Study Abroad Scholarship (Awarded by Dalton State Collegeg Foundation), Federal Work Study, Supplemental Education Opportunity Grant. (2003-2004 Academic Year)
Gabriela is a young leader who likes learning foreign languages(fluent in Spanish, English and elementary French), reading self actualization and inspirational books, traveling abroad to Europe and Latin America, playing piano, and running long-distance. Some of her work is listed below:

She is active in the community, often speaking at the Rotary Club, the Phi Theta Kappa Club and the Business Administration Advisory Board of Dalton State College. She has been a member of the Latino Mentor Association and has addressed the "Benefits of Studying Abroad." She also is a Volunteer Translator for the Fuente de Agua Viva Hispanic Church.
